This Finnish company is established in 2019 with long experience in oxygen based technologies. Oxygen nanobubble technology is relatively new and the amount of nanobubble research has remarkably increased since 2017 around the world. There is a demand to increase food productivity in the world and existing capacity is maximized by using chemicals, and microbes developing resistance. Oxygen content is a critical factor because every plant needs oxygen in their root zone to grow healthy. The plants wont also get infected so easily because oxygen boosts lant immunity. Extra oxygen can be stabilized into water only by storing it to nanobubbles. Oxygen gas nanobubbles are water-bound oxygen gas storages which provide a long term (days) oxygen supply. While dissolved oxygen is being consumed, more is released from the nanobubbles. Nanobubbles as such have useful physical properties: they are improving nutrient absorption to plants, decreasing biofilm growth in water systems and limiting growth of harmful anaerobic bacteria EOD’s Nanoboost, the oxygen nanobubble generator, that company has developed, harvests oxygen from the surrounding air and injects it into water. Part of the harvested oxygen is dissolved (30%) and the rest is paced into nanobubbles. This technology upgrades water-based oxygen storage at least by 30 mg/l in 80-800 l/min and retains readiness to be integrated into automation systems. The company is now looking for potential retailers and distributors as well as research partners in Europe. The potential distributors might be for example the companies offering irrigation water systems or other solutions for greenhouse facilities.
